The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) has activated its annual heat relief program. This campaign supports the Extreme Heat Emergency Plan during the hot summer months across the Valley of the Sun.
EDS collects much-needed water and funds, assisting those who suffer through the extreme heat conditions the most – people without a cool place to go during the most excruciating time of year in the Valley.

The Salvation Army wishes to thank key partners APS, Arizona’s Family, Assured Partners DBP, DripDrop, Ford, Plexus, Safeway/Albertsons, and SRP for the significant donations of funding, water and product they’ve provided in support of our heat relief efforts this year.
How you can help:
-
Donate vital funds that make the program possible.
-
Bring cases of bottled water (preferably standard 16.9-ounce bottles) to any of our heat relief stations.
-
Volunteer at our heat relief stations. Contact your local Salvation Army location or call 602-267-4100 to sign up today!

Don't forget to:
-
Check in on neighbors that might be at risk of dehydration or heat-related health issues.
-
Tell people how you made a difference by donating to #HeatReliefAZ on social.
-
Get your friends involved!
On average, Arizona sees 109 days of 100-plus temperatures. Imagine having no relief from those harsh conditions.
Your generous donations to the heat relief campaign assists thousands of individuals in need across our state, including families, elderly, homeless, children, and first responders.
